Welcome to Congregation Har HaShem!

Thank you for expressing an interest in our congregation.

At Congregation Har HaShem, you are both valued and valuable. Our congregation welcomes families, singles, and interfaith families. We have many activities to bring both young and old together to celebrate our lives and faith, and interfaith families are welcome with open arms in all areas of congregational life.

Membership at Congregation Har HaShem means different things to different people. We develop and enrich our unique Jewish identities through ritual, celebration, education, and social action.

As with most synagogues, your membership includes the rabbinic services of our clergy, youth programming, B'Mitzvah training, youth group, adult education, and so much more.

The decision to join a congregation is an important one. Please feel free to visit anytime, meet our staff and talk to other congregants. We encourage you to explore our website to learn about the variety of programs and services we offer. At Har HaShem, we share the belief that Judaism can inform all aspects of one’s personal life and that the synagogue is the center of Jewish life. There are many “pathways” in and we are happy to help you find your niche!

We have found it very helpful for newcomers to meet with us in person before they begin their membership.  This gives us an opportunity to answer any questions you may have, provide you with an overview of activities, and discuss how we might help to build your personal connection into the Har HaShem community.

We want to make it as easy as possible to become a member of Har HaShem. Our brit tzedakah (covenant of giving) provides an opportunity to support the congregation within your level of means. No one is denied membership for financial reasons. For more information, please contact our Engagement & Family Education Coordinator Shira Keshet at sk@harhashem.org or (303) 499-7077 x.119.

We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
