About the Arava Institute

In the hyper-arid, drought-stricken Middle East, one resource is more precious than water: Trust. The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies fosters coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis through hands-on environmental projects, applied research, and a university accredited academic program. By focusing on environmental cooperation, the Institute offers a pathway to mitigate conflict and build trust.
