The Governor’s Holocaust Remembrance Program allows people of all faiths to come together each year to honor Holocaust survivors, remember those who perished, educate the community about this horrible crime against humanity and translate those lessons into contemporary action. The event has been supported by every sitting governor of the State of Colorado since 1981. The 2025 Program will feature a very special conversation with Holocaust Survivor Carla Peperzak, a 101-year-old former partisan responsible for saving dozens of fellow Jews during the war. The program typically features remarks from Governor Jared Polis, a memorial prayer, and the lighting of the Holocaust memorial candelabra. Livestream available.
