Lisa graduated with a B.S. from Northwestern University and holds a Master's Degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University. She worked for ten years in Reform synagogues in Chicago, Boston and New York teaching children and adults alike. After teaching at Solomon Schechter Day School of Manhattan for five years, Lisa relocated to Boulder in 2005.
