Lisa graduated with a B.S. from Northwestern University and holds a Master's Degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University. She worked for ten years in Reform synagogues in Chicago, Boston and New York teaching children and adults alike. After teaching at Solomon Schechter Day School of Manhattan for five years, Lisa relocated to Boulder in 2005. She currently works as the librarian at the Boulder JCC in addition to consulting as an educational writer. Lisa is excited to be joining the Har HaShem educational team to get back into the world of Jewish education in a more hands-on fashion. In her free time, Lisa enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Matt, and two children, Zeke and Iris.
